Progress monitoring is different from time-lapse. Time-lapse uses scheduled aerial site visits compiled into a final video at substantial completion. Progress monitoring uses scheduled visits with a structured written report, ideal for stakeholders who want dated photo sets and a written narrative, not a video. We typically recommend both for long-duration projects: time-lapse for the marketing asset, progress monitoring for the operational record.
